Chamber Programs Benefit Members
The Fostoria Area Chamber of Commerce actively promotes business opportunity and improvement within the community as well as civic achievement and progress for Fostoria and the surrounding area.

The Fostoria Chamber works cooperatively with both private and public entities to ensure and promote the economic welfare of our community. The Chamber has a vested interest in economic vitality, education, human services, infrastructure, local services, civic affairs, and much more.

The Chamber gives business an organizational structure as well as a place to call with problems and concerns. Chamber members can organize for results through Chamber programs which bring together the collective wisdom of successful business men and women to address and solve problems, promote civic vitality, improve our economy, and share knowledge with one another.

Chamber Ribbon Cuttings
Chamber Ribbon Cuttings are a free benefit with your Chamber membership. Chamber Ribbon Cuttings provide your business or organization with media exposure through photos printed in the Fostoria Focus and press releases in the Focus, The Review Times, and other papers per member request.

Chamber Ribbon Cuttings are a great way to celebrate a grand opening, new ownership, completed renovations, a change of location, or a milestone anniversary.

Fostoria First Gift Certificates
The Fostoria Chamber Gift Certificate Program
To participate in the Fostoria First Gift Certificate Program, call the Chamber at 435-0486 to request an application form/contract. There is no fee to join the program, but you do have to be a Chamber member in good standing.

Fostoria First Gift Certificates are redeemable at full face value and may be taken to the bank just like a check.

Fostoria First is the Chamber's gift certificate program. Over 45 area merchants redeem Fostoria First Gift Certificates, making them the ideal gift for that hard-to-please person.

Health Insurance
As a Chamber member you are eligible to enroll in a group health plan through Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. With Anthem businesses can enjoy savings and discounts typically reserved for large companies. Worker’s Compensation
The Ohio Bureau of Worker’s Compensation (OBWC) permits employers with better-than-average claim histories to join together through a sponsoring organization for the purpose of being rated as a larger group. By participating in group rating, employers enjoy a much lower premium than could be attained on their own.

The Fostoria Area Chamber of Commerce is a sponsoring organization in conjunction with CompManagement, to provide our members with lower Worker’s Compensation premiums. Historically, groups, administered by CompManagement have realized savings between 40%-93% on individual company premiums.

Monthly Window Display
Each member may reserve the front window of the Chamber office to display information on their business or organization for one month. This display is free of charge and is limited to one time per year per member.

FYI Newsletter
The FYI is our quarterly publication which is mailed to ALL area businesses.

Each year as a member you receive:

1 free insert or 2 free business card sized ads (call the Chamber for details)
Free inclusion in Membership Matters: submitted news about members that is timely and new information

Discounted sponsorship and advertising:

Issue Sponsorship $200-includes feature article about your business or organization, front page photo
Full page insert $65 (must supply 600 copies)
½ page ad $50 per issue
¼ page ad $40 per issue
Business Card ad $25 per issue

Event Sponsorship
The Chamber hosts many different events to allow for networking opportunities as well as provide visibility to our members. Each event allows for sponsorship which helps give your business visibility while helping the Chamber continue to provide quality programs and services. Fostoria Welcome Guides
The Fostoria Welcome is a publication of the Chamber created with the help of the Fostoria Focus. This beautiful full cover book describes the unique features of Fostoria while providing space for area businesses to advertise. Guides are recreated every 2-3 years to keep the information current. Chamber members receive discounted advertising space in the guide.

Business Profile Display
Business cards, brochures and referral information display space is available to Chamber members free of charge.

Free Radio Spots on WFOB
The Chamber will feature your business on a WFOB radio spot with your membership.
