Chamber Welcomes
New Director
 The
Fostoria Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to
announce the hiring of Sheri Fleegle as the new
Executive Director.
Ms. Fleegle currently serves as the Program and
Marketing Director for the Boys and Girls Club of
Pleasants County, West Virginia. Prior to the Boys
and Girls Club, Sheri served as the Director of
Public Information for Washington State Community
College for almost 20 years. Ms. Fleegle brings a
vast background in communications, marketing,
networking with legislators and work in non-profit
organizations.
According to Sarah Stephens-Krupp, current Executive
Director, Ms. Fleegle plans to work closely with
Chamber members and others to promote Fostoria and
what it has to offer. ”Sheri was a standout in our
interview process and will not only bring experience
to the position but also a great sense of humor.”
Her ties to the area brought her to the Fostoria
Area Chamber. She and her husband, Steve, have been
looking for an opportunity to move to our area to be
closer to Steve's family, who live in Arcadia. The
Fleegles have two sons, Joe, who currently lives in
West Virginia, and Daniel, a student at Bowling
Green State University. They plan to relocate to the
Fostoria area in the near future.
Ms. Fleegle’s first day working at The Chamber will
be May 4.
